Hojaldrinas caseras

Las hojaldrinas son un pastelillo que encontráreis en muchas tiendas. Son muy fáciles de hacer caseras, y aunque no son para los más golosos, ya que no llevan azúcar, tienen un delicado sabor a naranja y mantequilla que resulta delicioso. Las originales, llevan manteca de cerdo, por lo que si lo preferís, podéis utilizarla en lugar de mantequilla.
Yo preparo este dulce siempre en Navidad y en mi casa nos encantan.

600 gr. de harina
400 gr. de mantequilla
50 ml. de zumo de naranja
50 ml. de vino blanco
la ralladura de la piel de 3 naranjas
azúcar glas, para espolvorear

¿Se puede añadir un poco de azúcar para que estén más dulces?
Sí se puede. Si quieres que estén un poco más dulces podéis echar un poco de azúcar en la masa. Yo echaría azúcar glas, para que no se note, unos 80 ó 100 grs.
¿Cuántas hojaldrinas salen con estas cantidades?

Haciéndolas del tamaño que yo las hice, salen aproximadamente 30 hojaldrinas.

Hojaldrinas are pastries available in many shops but also very easy to prepare at home. Despite not being the perfect match for those having a sweet tooth since they are sugar-free, they have a delicate butter and orange taste that makes them just delicious. Originally hojaldrinas were made with lard so feel free to replace the butter with it. I make myself this pastry every Christmas and we just love it at home. 
600g flour
400g butter
50ml orange juice
50ml white wine
3 oranges’ zest
Powdered sugar (to sprinkle)
Firstly, pour 50 ml of orange juice in a measuring cup. This equals to 3.5 tablespoons approximately. Then add the same amount of white wine.
In a bowl, add 400 gr of butter previously melted in the microwave (here you can replace the butter by lard, as mentioned before).
Pour the mix of orange juice and white wine to the butter through a strainer in order to avoid pulp, and mix it all until everything is blended together. 
Add 600 gr of flour through a strainer in order to sift it and to make the hojaldrinas spongier. 
Lastly, add the zest of 3 oranges. Here it is very important to add just the very orange part and to avoid reaching the white one since this will make the hojaldrinas bitter. In the same way, do not forget to wash the oranges with soap properly before using them or just use ecological oranges for this recipe instead. Mix it all until everything is blended together and then make a dough ball with your hands. Put the dough in the bowl again, cover it with transparent paper and leave it in the fridge for 1 hour. 
Put some baking paper on the table, put the cold dough on it and knead it until it is about 2 cm thick. Now make rectangles of approximately 4x6 cm. Cover the oven tray with baking paper and put all the hojaldrinas over it. Now put them again in the fridge during 30 min. They need to be very cold before being baked. 
Preheat the oven to 200 ºC and after those 30 min put the cold hojaldrinas inside. Leave them there for 15 minutes and then lower the temperature to 175 ºC and wait 30 minutes longer. 
Once baked, put the hojaldrinas on a grid so that they dry. Once dried, sprinkle the hojaldrinas with plenty of powdered sugar, preferably using a strainer in order to sift it. 
Tip: after baking, take one hojaldrina and split it into two pieces in order to check whether they look inside as shown at the end of the video. If they don’t, you should bake those 5 minutes longer.
